Reading the data

01 What's shown

Every brand mapped to its parent group and division category across the major luxury conglomerates, as of 29 July 2026.

02 What it shows

LVMH is by far the widest portfolio (88 entities, most of them wine estates); use the Group and Division filters, or sort any column, to move past Wines & Spirits to the flagship fashion, watch and jewellery houses.

03 How to read it

  • Fifteen rows carry notes, marked with ⓘ: 12 Paraffection craft ateliers, two B2B structures (LVMH Métiers d'Art, Thélios) and one divested unit.
  • LVMH appears here as 88 entities against the “75+” its own site claims. The difference is definitional: this table counts individual wine estates, B2B units such as Thélios and LVMH Métiers d'Art, and licensed beauty operations that LVMH does not describe as Maisons.
  • 160 entities, of which 159 are currently held — Kering Beauté passed to L'Oréal on 31 March 2026 and is retained here with status “divested”.
  • Every column header sorts (click to toggle); the Group and Division menus filter.

Research & press
  • Chanel's Paraffection ateliers rely on a tertiary source (Chanel is privately held and publishes no full list).
